Delicious cookies

Tomorrow is Cookie Morning at the church we went to last week and really liked. Since we were already planning on going again tomorrow, I went ahead and made a batch of cookies to take. They turned out great. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or other goodies

Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl, use a fork to mix together the dry cake mix, eggs and melted butter. Stir in the chocolate chips, or whatever else you want to add. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. The less time you bake them, the chewier they will be. Allow the cookies to cool on the cookie sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Cookie Morning sounds like a good church activity, but not as good as the young adults after-church activity that my sister's church sponsors -- Kegs for Christ.
